After an unacceptable hiatus..I'm back!! Just had my last final today- and a crazy load of stuff happened in the months before that, not sure how much I'll remember and write about.. Anyway, right after finals Melody and I went to pick up our Chinese visas (finally "returning" to my ancestral home next month! Pretty excited =) )
After that I went to pick up my replacement earphones. Bought these a few months ago and the paint job was terrrrible, peeling off everywhere no matter how carefully I stored them. I went to the customer service place with not much hope, to be honest- I was even asking for advice on what to threaten them with should they turn me away; but it was all good, they got me a brand new pair. On the way there I got terribly lost though, (thought I didn't need directions from Google maps cause I went there once before), and since I arranged to meet Melody an hour later for dinner I was rushing and I banged my ankle against a cart =.=
We had a lovely, juicy beef burger dinner; then I headed to meet my relative to change ownership of my mobile number. I realised too late that I was going there from a different direction and I had no idea which bus to take to get to where we were to meet. Because of the hearty dinner I decided I should walk there from the MTR. Map said it would take 40 minutes but I only had 20 and I made it! Part running part fast walking. Heh.
Just two nights ago, four of us Jji jji's had dinner with seniors in Hang Hau, the nearest town from campus. It was an all-you-can-eat hot pot, so we were feeling like balloons afterwards, aaand we decided to walk back to campus! It's only a 10-minute bus ride but it's a hilly route and the way back is uphill, so we ended up walking for almost 2 hours. We were singing Christmas carols along the way, and somehow that turned into Chinese New Year songs... Crap load of carolers we were- for most of the carols we could only manage the chorus xD
I have been informed that I'm getting rounder- yes I am aware of that, thanks Mum & Ee ee.
I was watching 500 Days of Summer just now (in fact I'm writing this to its soundtrack off YouTube). I really really enjoyed it and highly recommend it for silly little sensitive souls like me. I just wanted to pass time and the ratings were good but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, Zooey Deschanel!?!?!?!?! (I do realise that I might be lagging in my appreciation, but look at that face! And HER HAIR! ohsogorgeous).
