left school early today to attend my 96 year old great-grandmother's funeral today...
which at last count, is d 3rd funeral i've attended in less than a year...
kinda depressing n sad, u know??
except at this funeral everybody was reeli calm n composed..
perhaps because my ggma lived to a ripe old age, n died a natural death in her sleep, has a ton of ggchildren, n even a gggchild on d way(my cuz is pregnant)...
plus she was totally ready to go..
she even managed to "gao dai" what she wanted us to wear for d funeral---
lil white flowers for all d ladies' hair...

after d funeral, there was this old lady whom i have no idea how was related to me asked my mum:
"eii, lu no ae zha bo kia zuo ha mik kang?"
i looked at her all shocked n was thinking: gosh, old lady..do i reli look THAT OLD??
eeeeeeeeekkkkkk!!

16 jan 09...fri...d old staircase

mum n val managed to go into our old house in kajang n took a video!!
it turns out our old neighbours with whom mum n val were staying with were friends with d new house owners...
so...yeah....
i was watching d video...
n i reli, RELI felt like crying...!!!
they renovated most parts of d house n all i recognized was d shape of d house n d old staircase...
arr...over-whelming memories~~
d old staircase was reeeli special to val n i...
each step was made of wooden planks, so when u go up/down it will sound a rhythmic "thum thum thum thum..."
between d steps were hollow, n when we first moved in i was soo afraid i'd fall that i'll clutch d railings reeeeaaaaal tight for dear life..
dad n us used to play on d staircase like a playground...
we'd run up d stairs halfway, slip ourselves through d gap between d planks, n dad would catch us below..
dangerous, but so FUN~
there was a time when i went down d staircase at 5/6 years old n thought i was going to die..
i just came out of d bathroom n was still wet n stuff...
n i slipped, fell, n tumbled over n over down d stairs until d wall broke my fall on d second landing...
haha...
i consider myself quite lucky that time, considering it was possible to slip through d gaps n crack my head on d ground below....
lol..that would have been d end of jacqueline..

was supposed 2 post smthng on new year's day...

i SLEPT through d countdown...
thx to d WORST evil germs i have ever encountered in my 14 years...
which, after 14 days..is still causing my constant coughing! ugh...

anyways...
i never thought i'd say this...
but i RELI MISS MY MUM...
5 days since last saw her...
she accompanied val 2 an education fair at klcc...
so...yeah...
i realized i'm at my ultimate, most bossy-est point when i'm left alone with zac...
so much that i've started sounding like my mum...
nagging at him to bathe, sleep, brush teeth, wash face, dont read in d car, stop eating d noodles.......................................................................................................
they're coming back tonight, thank goodness...
been sweeping, mopping, tidying, washing etc etc to welcome their return...
i'm EXHAUSTED!

foodland-ok this place is cool...its a bakery+supermarket+restaurant+pharmacy, all open 24/7, regardless of holidays!

this place was quite a let-down as d so-called "resort" we stayed at was wayyyyy below grade..no internet connection, no telephone, no gud tv channels, n u nid 2 run all d way down 2 d reception juz 2 gt some toilet paper!

but other than tat..this place is kinda nice..

souveniers market- d things here r reeeli cheap, but zero quality...so nope, didnt gt much...

fish farm- u gt 2 feed sharks/turtles bla bla bla here n they snap it up lik unfed-for-days animals...i left all d feeding 2 val since personally, i think getting ur hands all stinky n bloody from feeing fish juz isnt worth it..

platinium fashion mall- this place is a MUST GO if u ever cum 2 thailand(unless of corz, u're a guy...) sadly, i didnt take any pics as i was too caught up SHOPPING! there's shop after shop of accesories, bags, clothes, shoes---all at cheap, whole-sale price..d place is fully packed though, even on mondays...so watch out 4 pickpockets!
